How to Add a Payment Button to Your Website

Learn how to drive website traffic and simplify the client experience by adding custom, hyperlinked payment buttons to your website.

Overview

Offer your clients an easy way to pay online by adding a custom payment button to your website. This is an excellent way to streamline the payment process for your clients while increasing traffic to your site.

Step 1: Copy Your Payment Link

Before adding a button, you need to retrieve your unique payment URL from your account:

  1. In ClientPay, click Charge.

  2. Locate the account where you want to deposit payments.

  3. Click Actions > Show & Copy Page Link.

  4. Copy the URL provided in the box.

Note: You can now paste this URL anywhere you like to hyperlink text or existing graphics.


Step 2: Choose Your Button

Select a professional payment button from the ClientPay Button Catalog. Follow the link within the catalog to download your preferred button style.

Step 3: Upload and Hyperlink

Once you have your button image and your payment link, follow these steps to go live:

  1. Upload the selected button image to your website's media library or image manager.

  2. Edit the image settings to add a hyperlink.

  3. Paste the URL you copied in Step 1 into the link field.

Technical Note: If your website builder does not support image hyperlinking, contact our support team. We can provide a custom HTML snippet to help you achieve the same result.
