Retrieve and understand your monthly ClientPay statements to stay on top of your firm's processing activity.
π Availability & Access
Timeline: Monthly statements are generally available by the 5th of every month for the previous month's activity.
Permissions: Access is restricted to Owners, Admins, and any user with the "View Statements" permission enabled.
π How to Access Your Statements
Open User Menu: Click your name in the top right corner of the ClientPay dashboard.
Select Statements: Click Statements from the dropdown menu.
Download: Locate the specific month you need and click Billing Statement to download a PDF copy.
π How to Read Your Statement
Your statement is divided into key sections to help you track fees and volume:
Account Overview: A high-level summary of total amount processed, total fees owed, and the scheduled debit date for those fees.
Account Summary: A list of all bank accounts currently on file for your firm.
Processing Fee Summary: This is broken down into three distinct parts:
Volume Breakdown: View the total processed per payment type, transaction counts, processing rates, and total accrued fees.
Card Brand Fees: Includes Allocated Card Brand Fees and applicable Amex fees.
Note: Some network fees are allocated based on reasonable judgment when they cannot be broken down by individual transaction.
Other Fees: Any additional monthly service or miscellaneous fees accrued.

Legacy Statements: If you have records from our legacy billing system, access them by navigating to Reports > Monthly Summary.
Regional Availability: Monthly summary reports are currently only available to ClientPay firms based in the United States.
