Overview

You can retrieve your monthly statements directly in ClientPay. Monthly statements are generally made available before the 5th of every month for the month prior. These statements are accessible by owners, admins, and any user with the "View Statements" permission.

To access your monthly statement, click your name in the top right corner of ClientPay. From here, click Statements. To view a specific statement, click Billing Statement to download a copy of the PDF.

How to read your Statement

  1. This section provides a quick overview of the total amount processed, the total amount of fees owed, and when the fees will be debited.

  2. The Account Summary lists all bank accounts on file.

The Processing Fee summary is broken down into three sections:

  1. The first section lists processing fees based on payment volume. This is where you can see a breakdown of the total amount processed per payment type, the total count, the processing rate, transaction fee, and lastly the fees accrued.

  2. The Card Brand fees include the Allocated Card Brand Fee, as well as any applicable Amex fees. In some cases, ClientPay is charged card network fees that are not broken down by customer, transaction count, or card volume. In those cases we may allocate those card network fees to applicable customers using our reasonable judgment which will display on your statement as the Allocated Card Brand Fee.

  3. The Other Fees section covers any applicable fees accrued that month.

If you had statements on our legacy billing system, these can still be accessed by navigating to Reports and then Monthly Summary.

Note: Monthly summary reports are currently only available to ClientPay firms based in the US.
