Overview
In ClientPay, you can re-charge a card from a previous transaction for up to six months after the original transaction date. This allows you to process new payments quickly without needing the client to provide their card details again.
π³ Step-by-Step Instructions
In the ClientPay portal, select Transactions from the left navigation menu.
Locate and click on the original transaction that contains the card you wish to re-charge.
On the right side of the page details, select the Re-charge button.
Enter the new payment amount and click Submit charge.
β οΈ Important Considerations
When re-charging a card, please keep the following rules in mind:
Fixed Data: The original cardholder information (such as Name, Zip Code, etc.) is locked and cannot be changed during a re-charge.
Excluded Transactions: Transactions that originated from a Schedule (recurring payment) cannot be re-charged.
Time Limit: This feature is only available for 6 months following the initial transaction date.
